Chapter 173

C173 – An Innate Master

The entire room was in shock.

No one had anticipated Ye Hao’s fierce display of bravery.

After all, Wang Guangrao was the legitimate grandson of the prestigious Wang family!

How could Ye Hao be so bold?

The head of the Wang family fixed Ye Hao with an icy glare, the intent to kill evident in his eyes, “You deserve to die.”

“You’re not qualified to determine whether I live or die,” Ye Hao retorted, stepping confidently toward the family head.

Wang Wenqiang’s personal bodyguard stepped forward, his gaze icy as he commanded, “Stop right there.”

“Scram.” At Ye Hao’s stern command, the bodyguard coughed up blood and stumbled backward.

“What’s happening here?” Wang Wenqiang exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief.

He was well aware that his bodyguard was an eight-star expert.

Though not the most formidable, he was significantly stronger than the average person.

So why had the bodyguard been reduced to spitting blood with a mere rebuke from Ye Hao?

Wang Wenqiang was perplexed, and a flicker of anxiety crossed his face.

“Where’s the cruise ship’s security?” the matriarch of the Wang family cried out, witnessing the scene.

A dozen security personnel charged at Ye Hao without hesitation.

“If anyone else dares to approach, I’ll kill them,” Ye Hao warned.

The security team felt as if their hearts had been struck by a sledgehammer.

One by one, they coughed up blood and collapsed, drained of strength.

The crowd scattered in all directions at the sight.

Ye Hao then approached Wang Wenqiang and stated, “I, however, can decide your fate.”

Without displaying any overt power, Ye Hao’s presence alone caused Wang Wenqiang’s whole being, even his soul, to quiver as if faced with an unstoppable force.

“Patriarch, he’s an Innate expert,” the bodyguard blurted out, just as Wang Wenqiang was at a loss for words.

What?

An Innate master!

A look of sheer terror spread across Wang Wenqiang’s face.

Not even the Wang family, nor the elite Lin, Zhou, or Zheng families, could easily secure the presence of an Innate master.

“By the rules, I’m entitled to eliminate anyone who challenges me,” Ye Hao said with a sneer.

Wang Wenqiang could only respond instinctively, “That’s impossible.”

“There’s nothing impossible in this world,” Ye Hao said with a laugh. “Do you know why the Faang family doesn’t dare to pursue me? Do you really think they have no interest in this matter?”

Wang Wenqiang felt a jolt of shock.

How could a family like the Faang family easily let Ye Hao off the hook?

Yet, they had indeed let Ye Hao go.

As he spoke, Ye Hao raised his palm high.

“Hold on,” Wang Guangrao called out, his voice shaking.

“What’s the matter?” Ye Hao asked, looking at Wang Guangrao with a relaxed demeanor.

“I promise I won’t bother Ming Yue anymore,” Wang Guangrao stated, clearly aware of Ye Hao’s reason for being there.

Ye Hao gave Wang Guangrao a half-smile and responded, “I expect the Wang family to honor their word. Should you dare to betray your promise, I won’t hesitate to erase the Wang family from Glento City.”

Ye Hao’s declaration was bold.

Yet, no one present dared to challenge him.

“Ming Yue, let’s go,” Ye Hao said, turning to Ming Yue, who was still reeling from the events, and smiled.

Ming Yue nodded and hurried to keep up.

Ming Yue’s parents exchanged a glance and quickly followed their daughter.

“Where’s your room?” Ye Hao inquired.

“Just turn left up ahead, then right, and it’s the third room on the right,” Ming Yue replied promptly.

Ye Hao nodded in acknowledgment.

Upon reaching Ming Yue’s room, Ye Hao addressed her slightly anxious parents, “I realize I haven’t introduced myself. My name is Ye Hao, and I’m a friend of Ming Yue.”

Ming Yue’s parents were simple workers.

Initially, they had refused Wang Guangrao’s demands. But after both lost their jobs, they recognized the Wang family’s significant influence in Glento.

Despite Wang Guangrao’s further threats, Ming Yue’s parents had not given in, but Ming Yue had.

She couldn’t gamble with her parents’ safety.

Thus, at the engagement ceremony, Ming Yue’s parents appeared quite disheartened. To their surprise, Ye Hao had made an unexpected appearance.

Seeing how approachable Ye Hao was, the elders felt their anxiety begin to subside.

“What does the Innate Realm mean, Ye Hao?” Ming Yue asked out of the blue.

“The tycoons of this world are rarely assassinated because they’re protected by formidable bodyguards,” Ye Hao explained with a smile. “And these aren’t your average bodyguards. Their combat abilities are beyond anything you could imagine.”

“Not even a sniper rifle can harm the bodyguard of the Wang family’s head.”

“Is he that strong?” Ming Yue gasped in astonishment.

Yet, she quickly realized that Ye Hao might be even more formidable.

“Warriors are ranked from first to ninth grade, and above that is the Innate Realm,” Ye Hao said, locking eyes with Ming Yue. “Those in the Innate Realm have unlocked the Two Bridges of Heaven and Earth, allowing them to constantly replenish their energy.”

“Masters of the Innate Realm aren’t bound by conventional laws. Only the Martial Arts Bureau has the authority to apprehend them.”

“The Martial Arts Bureau?”

“Yes, it’s an official entity.”

“Will the Martial Arts Bureau come after you for your actions today?”

“No, they won’t.”

“Why not?”

“Because I’m part of the Martial Arts Bureau’s senior leadership,” Ye Hao revealed with a smile.

Ming Yue was taken aback by Ye Hao’s impressive status.

“Now, can we discuss our business?” Ye Hao steered the conversation in a new direction.

“Our business?” Ming Yue felt a sense of foreboding.

“I plan to establish a sanatorium in Glento,” Ye Hao said, maintaining his gaze on Ming Yue. “And you will be in charge of it.”

“A sanatorium?”

“At my sanatorium, not only can one bolster their physical defenses, but they can also extend their lifespan.”

“What?” Ming Yue exclaimed, shocked.

“You grasp the significance of this, don’t you?”

“If what you’re saying is true, the sanatorium will be incredibly successful,” Ming Yue responded gravely.

“However, setting up a sanatorium in Glento might be quite challenging.”

“Give me your bank account details.”

Ming Yue pulled out her wallet and handed over her bank card.

Ye Hao took a brief look at it before handing it back.

Shortly after, Ming Yue’s phone chimed with a notification from her bank.

“One billion,” she murmured, awestruck by the numbers before her.

“That’s just the initial funding. I’ll be investing more,” Ye Hao stated calmly.

“Do you really trust me that much?” Ming Yue asked, lifting her gaze to meet Ye Hao’s.

“Shouldn’t I trust you?” Ye Hao responded with a question of his own.

“I absolutely won’t disappoint you,” Ming Yue declared with conviction.

Ye Hao smiled, reached into his pocket, and presented Ming Yue with a brocade box.

“This is for you.”

Upon opening it, Ming Yue discovered an exquisite crystal pendant inside.

Her cheeks flushed with color at the sight.

For a brief moment, she was torn between accepting the gift and declining it.
