Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle

Chapter 322: Healing Tokens

'Remarks… Made by Shadow Strider…' Shane read in his mind, and he couldn't help but feel surprised about this.

"There's my nickname on it?"

His mind raced as he realized that because of this, his identity as a craftsman would probably spread.

'I'll become famous…' He thought…

However, he immediately recalled that this place was a Neutral Shelter, and the people didn't have Regional or World Chat to share information. In short, his Shadow Strider nickname wouldn't spread outside this shelter, at least for now.

'Anyway, it can only be used 20 times, huh… That's still a lot better than a single-use potion or pill. After all, it only requires 2 Spirit Points to activate.'

Shane then checked the Marketplace to see the prices of potions, pills, or herbs that had healing properties. After adjusting the list by using the search function, he found several potions being sold for a decent price by a single person. It appears that this person probably has an Alchemy or Pharmacist talent or something similar.

[ Seller: Hidden Patrol

Item: Dilluted Health Potion x293

Description: A weak healing potion concocted by a witch. It provides 10 Vitality Points.

Price: 10 Zombie Cores per piece ]

'This… It's not even ten percent but 10 Vitality Points.' Shane was a bit shocked when he saw the most popular potion being sold in the Marketplace.

As far as he knows, Anna could also make these potions. Furthermore, the main ingredient was actually a certain herb that could also be found in the forest. A single leaf could make a decent healing potion but since this was diluted, the effect was terrible.

Anna didn't even have to spend any Zombie Cores to make these since the ingredients were already in nature. She only needed the basic pieces of equipment like pot, ladle, bottles, and others to produce them.

With the 20% Transaction Fee of the market, it meanst that Hidden Patrol could earn 16 Zombie Cores per piece. This was certainly not a bad business, especially if the price to make a single potion was cheap…

He then checked the next popular potion and confirmed that it was still made by Hidden Patrol.

[ Seller: Hidden Patrol

Item: Basic Health Potion x31

Description: A normal healing potion concocted by a witch. It provides 50 Vitality Points.

Price: 50 Zombie Cores per piece ]

"Ah…" Shane's eyes lit up as he realized that this person was selling his potion based on the vitality regeneration rate.

It was actually one zombie core for one vitality point!

'Interesting…' Shane thought.

Anyway, with his Crimsonheart Healing Token, which was capable of providing 30% of vitality to the user 20 times, he couldn't help but consider selling them for 250 or more Zombie Cores.

'But that's a bit expensive, I guess.' Shane mused as he decided not to think about it for now. Instead, the price could be negotiated once he met with Lord Kang Zhen or any of his representatives.

For now, he decided to continue making tokens with similar designs but with Drifterwood and Pixie Oak.

'It's really a different effect with different item, huh…' Shane mused as he confirmed that although he infused the same Fast Regeneration Skill, the effect of the item was still different.

[ Drifterwood Healing Token: Engraved from Drifterwood, this token possesses an earthy aroma and a sturdy build. Known for its connection to the wandering spirits, it offers a unique healing effect that draws upon the natural energies of the environment.

Effect:

Sustained Healing: Gradually restores 40% of maximum health over 10 seconds.

Activation Cost: 3 Spirit Points

Usage: 25/25

Remarks: made by Shadow Strider ]

"Ohh… Sustained healing instead of the instant one… However, it has a higher restoration rate and more number of uses." Shane smiled in satisfaction after seeing the result. Since the activation cost was higher and it was a sustained healing, he couldn't help but think that this could have a lower price. However, the gap of the price shouldn't be too big.

'Or is this supposed to have a higher price?' Shane mused.

Anyway, he left it at that and continued.

Next, he used the Pixie Oak to carve another token. Although his knife was already a Master-Grade, he realized that this piece of wood was harder to carve than the two others.

Then, after making the token, he proceeded with the infusion and spent 50 Spirit Points to infuse the Fast Regeneration Skill once again.

[ Pixie Oak Healing Token: This enchanting token is crafted from the magical Pixie Oak, known for its resistance to decay. When activated, it taps into the ethereal essence of the pixies, granting a burst of healing energy that revitalizes the bearer.

Effect:

Instant Remedy: Restores 50% of maximum health instantly and grants a 30% speed boost for 10 seconds.

Activation Cost: 20 Spirit Points

Usage: 10/10

Remarks: made by Shadow Strider ]

"Ohh… It even grants Speed Boost?" Shane found this amusing. He imagined that this potion was indeed perfect to use during their escape.

The only downside was the Spirit Points usage, which was higher than the first two tokens. Nonetheless, this was certainly a very good healing item!

This would definitely be very expensive.

Furthermore, as he tried to infuse the token with the Fast Regeneration Skill, he felt that the token could handle another infusion!

After some hesitation, he opened his status to consider which skill he could infuse into the token.

[ Survivor Skills: Firearm Mastery, Axe Mastery, Lockpicking, Hacker, Controlled Body Heating, Fast Swimmer, Taunt, Mining, Danger Sense, Rope Mastery, Weather Sense, Deadly Punch, Alchemy, Weapon Master, Aura of Protection, Foraging, Archery, Survival Cooking, Horseback Riding, Lesser Beast Taming, Boosted Steps, Ghost Stride, Horizontal Slash and Enhanced Senses. ]

[ Fused Skills: Survivalist, Crowd Manipulator, Phantasm Rush, Trap Mastery ]

'Adding taunt will make it dangerous… How about Ghost Stride? Uhmmm… Danger Sense?' Shane mused as he considered which skill he should infuse.

'A movement skill is good with the Speed Boost… But since this is supposedly a support item, might as well add some defense.'

After some hesitation, Shane decided to infuse the Pixie Oak Healing Token with Aura of Protection. This time, however, he spent 75 Spirit Points during the infusion!
