Li Zixuan finished packing his things and was about to leave without paying any attention to Gu Xing or Cao Feng.

"Indeed, if you were aware, you wouldn't have been shouting like that just a while ago."

"Do you realize that your shouting in front of everyone is nothing but the antics of a buffoon?" the middle-aged police officer said with a cold laugh.

"What!" Li Zixuan's vision darkened, and his head buzzed. If it weren't for the two police officers holding him, he would have certainly collapsed.

"So don't try to be clever by exploiting kind-hearted people. Come with us for an investigation, and honestly confess all your problems. That's the correct way out," the middle-aged police officer waved his hand, "Take him away!"

Under the watchful gaze of the onlookers, Li Zixuan was led away.

"If you surrender, then I'm not running," Gu Xing said with a bitter smile.

If Cao Feng were with him, he would have a companion, which seemed good.

But running away alone would be too desolate.

Even if they lived abroad, it wouldn't be very fun.

Like Cao Feng said, it would be better to surrender, spend a few years in jail, and then they could continue with their current lifestyle afterward.

After all, their families had assets worth billions. Whether or not they went to jail would not affect their quality of life.
