Facing Colt's unpredictable actions, even Enel was left speechless.
"Is there really no other option?" Enel thought helplessly.
Colt took out a pair of seastone handcuffs and secured them on Enel.
Without hesitation, he opened the space with his ocular technique and sent Enel directly somewhere.
"Take this opportunity to reform yourself," Colt said casually.
"Earn your place as a reliable tool in the future."
Colt held high hopes for Enel.
With enough training, Enel could possibly one day achieve Admiral-level strength.
However, for now, there was a long way to go-despite Enel's impressive fruit abilities and observational skills, his physical conditioning was far too weak.
With Enel subdued, the obstacles on the Sky Island that might have been in their way, had been cleared.
Colt also secured Enel's amassed treasures, including the Ark Maxim. The ship capable of flight.
When Robin saw the Ark, a ship made almost entirely of gold, she was utterly stunned.
Nami, on the other hand, screamed in delight and rushed forward.
"It's all gold!" she exclaimed.
Hugging a golden door panel tightly, she declared, "This is the happiest moment of my life!"
Colt, unimpressed, picked her up by her nape like a cat and scolded, "Do you seriously want to sail this ship across the seas?"
The problems with that were obvious enough...
But not for someone who had berry marks in their eyes, like Nami.
"Why not?" Nami asked, her eyes sparkling with hope.
"If you're okay with every pirate in the world chasing us, then sure." Colt shrugged.
The thought of pirates flocking to them, swords raised in fury, made Nami shudder.
Colt smirked. "I'm pretty sure you can't handle it. Let me take care of this."
He reassured her, "I'll hold onto the Ark Maxim for now. In a few years' time, you'll be able to sail it freely."
With that, Colt stashed away the golden ark instantly and turned to Robin.
"Let's check out the historical Poneglyph."
His abilities were pretty much ignored by the two women as they saw them multiple times to question them.
Colt then led Robin and Nami to the ruins, where an enormous golden bell stood in the center, wrapped in vines.
Its brilliance was barely dimmed by the layers of greenery.
"Universal Pull."
The golden bell levitated into the air, revealing a massive stone tablet hidden beneath.
Calmly, Colt approached it, leaving Robin to inspect the text.
Meanwhile, Nami tugged on Colt's sleeve with a pleading look. "Can't we melt this bell? I'll take just 10% of the gold!"
Colt rubbed his chin thoughtfully before shaking his head. "No."
Nami was devastated.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Seeing Nami on the verge of tears, he added, "There's scattered gold elsewhere. Take as much as you want from that."
Nami's mood instantly shifted from despair to joy as she rushed to gather bricks-golden bricks, to be precise.
Using [Sukunahikona], Colt shrank the golden bell to a manageable size, transforming it into
a decorative ornament. With a satisfied nod, he tied it to his waist with a rope.
"It would be a waste to melt down something with so much historical significance and beauty," Colt remarked.
Robin, after carefully studying the Poneglyph, approached Colt with a mix of curiosity and awe.
"I know what it says," Colt said before she could speak.
Robin looked surprised. "You can read the Poneglyphs?"
"Nope. To me, it looks like random lines," Colt replied nonchalantly.
"But I know what it says: something about one of the Ancient Weapons and Gol D. Roger."
Robin was speechless.
At this point, she wasn't even surprised by Colt's mysterious abilities.
She nodded her head, but she could clearly see that he wasn't interested so she remained silent.
After securing the historical tablet and clearing the ruins, the group wrapped up their Sky Island mission in less than a day.
However, they weren't in a hurry to leave. Visiting the Sky Island was a rare opportunity, and they intended to enjoy it fully.
The earlier battle between Colt and Enel had been deafening, attracting attention from the Sky Island residents.
But seeing the four priests defeated and no response from the temple, the people began to
piece things together.
A little girl timidly approached Robin.
"Beautiful sister, did you defeat God?"
Robin crouched down with a warm smile, gently patting the girl's head.
"No, it was that handsome guy over there. He defeated the bad fake god, and thus he wouldn't
be able to hurt you or anyone else anymore."
The crowd that was listening erupted into cheers; their gratitude palpable.
Nami found herself lost in thought.
The scene reminded her of the time Colt defeated Arlong in Cocoyasi Village. The villagers'
reaction had been the same.
Half a year had passed since then, and her growth was undeniable.
Now, she could probably take down Arlong herself, without Colt's help.
Daily sparring and training with Colt had transformed her.
Though her playful arguments with him continued, they were more a reflection of
camaraderie than weakness.
Even Gan Fall, the former "God" of Sky Island, approached Colt with tears in his eyes,
thanking him profusely.
Colt, however, waved him off.
"No need for thanks. Just focus on being a good leader instead of a god."
He then moved on to serious stuff.
When Colt mentioned needing various shellfish, the Sky Islanders eagerly brought forth their
collections.
By the end, Colt had gathered over a thousand shellfish of all types. He carefully selected the most exquisite ones, intending to gift them to Hinata and the others.
After ten days of sightseeing and relaxation, the trio finally descended from Sky Island to the
Blue Sea, their bags filled with treasures and memories.
As soon as they landed, Colt's transponder snail rang incessantly.
