It was yet again back to human vs monster thanks to Stark’s threats.

Just a few more, and the first human-monster collaboration would have happened.

The Mayor was a level 600 moonscorch commander, with 17 skills to use whenever he wanted to battle:

And he was accompanied his followers, the [Butler Trio], who would even oppose master Godless for him.

They weren’t powerful, but the [Loyal Regeneration] skill was what made them tough to beat.

[Loyal Regeneration: As long as the Mayor is alive, they will keep regeneration no matter what, for they could never leave his as long as he is still here, their loyalty transcends everything.]

Beating Mayor was a challenge in itself, so add to that three immortal beings that would do anything to stop you, and this becomes a boss fight.

But Follower wasn’t fazed.

After all, he had already sacrificed everything for the [Godless Demon].

Remember how every domination user has their very own status panel and skills?

Well, Follower sacrificed all of those to gain the power of the [Godless Demon].

Every single skill he had worked for was gone, but in exchange, he gained powers that far surpassed his previous ones.

He only gained 5 perks by now, but each of them was immensely powerful: Crimson Corruption, Demon’s Grasp, Attack Negation, Demon Devouring, and finally, Godless Demon Transformation (Immortal).

[Crimson Corruption: Corrupts the air around him and enhance his fists with a dark aura.]

[Demon’s Grasp: Transform his hands into claws, and his eyes become sharp enough to notice any weakness an enemy has.]

[Attack Negation: Able to cancel an attack from an enemy if you hit them.]

[Demon Devouring: Pierce your enemy, and hold your claws in their hearts for five seconds, then you’ll instantly kill them.]

[Godless Demon Transformation: partially transform your body with the aura of the Godless Demon, gaining immense strength.]

He could only use those, but it was more than enough for him to completely dominate any battle he could be in.

And now that his target, the Mayor, was on his sight, he was about to destroy him.

The Mayor grinned as his utensils grew to massive sizes, activating [Giant Utensils].

The fork and knife slashed through the air with a deadly arc, forcing Follower to dodge swiftly.

The [Butler Trio] surrounded him, their movements synchronized.

They activated [Random Plate], hurling spinning plates that grazed Follower’s arms and legs. He ignored the cuts, his fists glowing dark with [Crimson Corruption].

Follower lunged at the Mayor, but one of the butlers intercepted, swinging a massive tray at him.

The blow missed as Follower ducked, retaliating with a punch.

The butler stumbled back as he was hurt, but [Loyal Regeneration] quickly mended the damage.

The Mayor laughed. "You’ll need more than that."

With a swipe of his hand, he summoned spinning plates through [Dinner is Served].

The spectral plates homed in on Follower, forcing him to leap backward.

The butlers moved in again, using [Mayor’s Servant] to chain their attacks.

One swung a fork, while another hurled plates from a distance.

Follower caught one plate midair, shattering it with his clawed hand.

He growled, using [Demon’s Grasp] to extend his claws, which glowing menacingly.

He slashed at the nearest butler, tearing through its chest.

But the regeneration kicked in immediately, leaving no permanent damage.

"You’re annoying," Follower muttered.

The Mayor activated [Silver Service], spinning his utensils in a whirlwind.

The energy pulled Follower closer, and the utensils slashed across his torso, leaving deep gashes.

Follower winced but recovered quickly.

He landed a solid punch on the Mayor, but [Table Manners] triggered.

The Mayor dodged and stabbed Follower in the shoulder, dealing true damage.

The Mayor smirked. "You’re nothing but a pest."

"Annoying little shit..." Follower growled, "You’re simply using tricks over and over..."

"And yet you can’t do anything about it."

Follower retaliated with another claw slash, but the Mayor blocked it with [Polished Edge], his knife gleaming with enhanced power.

A counterattack followed, forcing Follower to retreat.

The butlers swarmed again, swinging their plates at random to strike Follower with incredible force, they didn’t fear for their lives since they knew they would be revived.

He rolled to the side and used [Attack Negation] on the next swing, canceling it entirely.

Follower then dashed toward the Mayor, claws aimed for his heart again.

"I just need... a single opening..."

The Mayor stepped back, activating [Utensil Storm].

Forks and knives rained down, forcing Follower to zigzag through the onslaught.

A spectral fork struck Follower’s leg, pinning him momentarily.

The Mayor dashed forward with [Fork Toss], aiming for Follower’s chest.

Follower broke free just in time, dodging the Mayor’s attack and slamming a fist into his ribs.

"From a single punch?!" The Mayor stumbled, but the butlers rushed in, their loyalty unwavering.

Their speed and power increasing as they coordinated attacks. Plates flew, forks stabbed, and trays swung, all aimed at overwhelming Follower.

Follower roared, activating [Crimson Corruption] again.

A dark aura burst from him, knocking the butlers back temporarily.

He focused on the Mayor, charging forward with relentless fury.

"Feast of Fury," he smiled, unleashing a rapid combo of utensil strikes.

Follower blocked and dodged, each attack growing faster and deadlier.

One strike connected, leaving a gash across Follower’s chest. He gritted his teeth and countered with a clawed strike, but the Mayor dodged effortlessly.

"You’ll need to try harder," the Mayor taunted, and his fork struck Follower, marking him with a defense-reducing debuff.

Follower ignored the pain and slashed at the Mayor again.

His claws tore through the air, forcing the Mayor to parry with his knife.

"That kid..." Mayor, though confident, he could sense that no matter how many times he was hitting him, Follower seemed to only grow stronger by the second.

The butlers returned, their regeneration fully healed. They attacked from all sides, overwhelming Follower with their relentless assault.

Follower slammed his foot into the ground, creating a small shockwave to push them back.

His claws glowed brighter, and his eyes sharpened, identifying a weakness in the Mayor’s stance.

The Mayor grinned. "You’ll never win. As long as I stand, they cannot fall."

Follower smirked. "Then you’re gonna be the first to go down."

"BANQUET OF ETERNITY!"

Mayor tried to activate his strongest skill besides his Immortal one to finally end this fight.

But before he could do anything...

"Watch your back next time, dumbass," Follower already behind, having adapted to Mayor’s fighting style flawlessly.

This was one of the passive perks Follower acquired besides those he got to deal damage: the more he fought and received damage, then the easier it would be for him to overwhelm his enemies.

He couldn’t do that with the [Heaven’s Spear] since it was just too strong, able to wipe him in mere seconds, but for anyone else, it was his strategy.

He believed that it would also work perfectly with Stark, that is if he didn’t have another skill to instantly end a battle.

"Yawn..." meanwhile, Stark was lying down, observing the battles and taking into account every single skill the others were displaying.

He would surely need to remember them for later.

Tormented One and Clever on the other hand were locked in a stalemate, as Tormented One couldn’t even reach the old man, but his [100-Golden Arms Statue] dealt literally 0 damage to the thing.

Sensing the growing danger of this trial, Clever got serious and slammed his fists repeatedly, but the creature would get up no matter, as if unaffected.

After a short while of fighting, Follower landed a devastating punch, sending the Mayor crashing into a wall.

He had adapted to their fighting style perfectly now, even the butler trio sensing that no matter what they did, it wouldn’t work.

The square fell silent for a moment.

Follower laughed. "Weak, and worse of all, your horns look stupid and ugly."

Such a warning had appeared in front of Shock and CEO in the manor, but Follower didn’t know about it, and frankly, even if he did know, it wouldn’t change much.

The Mayor’s expression twisted with rage.

His hands gripped his utensils tightly, his entire body trembling with fury.

[Conditions met to use "Immortal" Skill]

[Horn Call] was a condition skill, much like EGO meter and the fact you need to make the meter reach 100, but in that case, the condition was for someone to insult Mayor’s horns.

"You’re dead, kid," the Mayor said, his voice cold and furious.

"Sure thing, you ugly little shit," Follower replied, unfazed.

The Mayor dashed forward, his rage fueling his every movement.

Follower grinned, ready to end the battle in one counterattack.
