There is a black carriage that is not too old and run-down. What is more interesting is the monster lying on the ground nearby.

"Sir, this is my family's black carriage. That is a fourth-order flying fire salamander. It was my father's beast. "He used to drive monster carriages."

The male red salamander opened its eyes and looked at me. Before closing its eyes once again.

'Uhm, Mister. Can you tell me about the task right now," The young man asked.

His words interrupted my thoughts, and I looked at him.

I asked,"What's your name?"

"My name is Crook," He said.

"Crook, I need you to deliver goods to a friend of mine near the border, which is right next to the bright nation," I explained.

Crook was ecstatic after hearing that. He assumed the task was about running an errand. But he did not expect to receive a windfall. It will take several days to get to the border.

Especially when traveling with a red salamander. It will take more time.

But as long as he completes the mission. He can earn money to cure his father's disease.

"Mister, I gladly accept the task. But our flip is a red salamander, not a bird-like monster. So it will take more time, and I hope you are okay with that," Crook said solemnly.

The next moment, Crook stepped inside. His gaze immediately fell on the mana potion. Seeing that green color potion with silver glints everywhere. He knew it's the high grade potion. It's similar to the description said by his father.

"Here take these things with you. I will put the goods here before leaving. I hope you will reach the destination sooner," Saying that I gave him the healing potion and pouch.

Crook's mind was on all about saving his father. So much so that he didn't raise doubts about the client's identity and the difficulty of the mission.

Even if someone bad offers him pay before the task. He would gladly accept it. After accepting the things, he immediately stored it inside the storage bracelet.

"Mister, I will start the task after giving these things to my father. You can trust me fully," Crook said with a hesitation.

He fears that the client might go back on his words.

Crook was happy. He bowed before walking out.

Seeing change in Crook's energy. The other old carriage drivers near were all surprised. Earlier, they saw someone walking with Crook.

Some of the greedy old men tried to get near the carriage. Right after, the red salamander makes a small threatening sound.

These old guys are startled. Though the red salamander is a 4th order monster. They don't want to kill just because they are Curious about that kid's client.

"Let's go back. Don't offend the rich person. He might take his anger on us," A wise old man convinced others.

After hearing that they walked away.

When the red salamander saw this, it relaxed.

On the other hand, I took the silver boxes from the storage bracelet and placed them on the seat. The 2 Silver Boxes contain nothing but metal scraps. But one needs a password to open it.

After doing that I decided to hide in the Gregor Mansion.

Meanwhile,

Crook returns to the city. His home is in the outer area of the city near the city gate. The outer area has many residences. As there are more low to middle class people living here.

The wealthy people living in rich mansions are in the middle of the city.

Crook arrives at his home a few minutes later. His family has himself and his father. His mother had died after giving birth. His father has been taking care of him since his birth. But that was until a few months ago.

His father became unwell all of a sudden. It happened during one of the tasks his father carried out. He encountered bandits.

That fight against bandits had left him with hidden injuries.

Crook removed those thoughts before walking inside the home. Then he went directly to father's room.

"Dad!"

"Dad!"

"I brought you a cure," Crook said with a smile.

Inside the old room, a middle-aged man is sleeping on his bed. His body was skinny. His skin tone became pale because of the weakness.

After hearing his son's voice. The middle aged man opened his eyes.

"Crook, what is it?" The middle aged man asked.

"Dad, look at this. It's the High grade healing potion. It can heal you in no time," Crook replied.

Seeing that green color potion bottle with silver sparks in it. The middle aged man's eyes flickered. He is a level-6 Wizard. His eyes are better than his son's. Even among the high-grade potions, the one in his son's hand is of higher quality.

He knows about his son. He will not steal it. So he asked about it directly.

Crook began to tell the whole story.

A few minutes later,

"A mission to reach the bright nation border. It's not an easy task. There are many bandit points on the way. We have to join other Caravans or like minded people."

"Let me take this job," The middle aged man said in a weak tone.

"No, dad. You can rest here. The client entrusted me with the task. So I will complete it," Crook said adamantly.

The Middle aged man then thought of something.

He said,"Well, I cannot let you go alone. You are my only son. Besides, you are inexperienced as well. After consuming the potion, I will go with you."

Hearing that Crook immediately agreed. He knows he can't disagree with his father. But if father comes with him, then he will be more assured.

Right after, the middle aged man consumed the high grade potion in one go. The healing energy immediately began to heal his injuries.

"I'm wrong. The healing potion's efficiency is stronger than I thought. It might be even helpful for level-7 and level-8 wizards."

"His son had a chance to meet this noble person. I should complete this task with my son as well," He said to himself.

30 minutes later,

The middle aged man becomes a lot better. He can get out of bed and walk on his own. Seeing that Crook became more happy. His family can go back to normal days.

"Crook, let's leave the place right away. We have used the client's potion. We should not delay in starting the task," The middle aged man said to his son.

Then both of them left the city and went to the cheap market. By the time they got there they saw their Flip, the red salamander monster was started in by many people.

"Take a look at who is coming."

"The old man Crook is still alive and well. It appears that we have waited for nothing."

The Greedy old drivers spoke to each other.

The middle aged man and his son ignored them and went to their carriage. The middle aged man went to pat his monster first.

The red salamander became excited after seeing its owner. Unlike before, the monster looks energetic upon seeing the owner.

"Flip, I'm alright now. We can do more missions here after," He said to the monster.

The red monster responded with a weird sound.

Crook opened the carriage cabin to enter.

After opening it, he entered inside. He saw 2 metallic boxes. These metallic boxes are sophisticated. He knows that there must be something important stored inside.
