Chapter 358: Mist Alliance
Chapter 358: Mist Alliance
Mo Fuyang fell into deep thought. He didn’t fully comprehend the profound words of the senior before him, nor did he know where they had come from or what they had experienced.
Shaking himself out of his reverie, he spoke with renewed deference: “Senior, these discarded materials are deposited here to be absorbed by the vast Mengmu Sea or slowly purified by various spiritual plants, ensuring they don’t cause long-term harm.”n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
“Many of these remnants are eventually swept into the Void, where space storms shred them to nothingness. But if left to accumulate within the territories of major sects, the damage would be catastrophic.”
“While decades may pass without issue, over centuries or millennia, these materials would corrode spiritual veins, leaving them defiled and unusable. This has been proven by countless experts and accepted as a fundamental truth.”
Mo Fuyang continued passionately, “To preserve the cultivation environment of Xuanwei Heavens, all great sects have unanimously agreed to dispose of waste in these peripheral regions. These garbage islands are the best solution—remote, barren, and devoid of contested cultivation resources.”
Chen Xun nodded thoughtfully, his lips curling into a faint smile. “I see. No wonder the spiritual energy here is so rich. The cultivation world of this great domain places immense importance on maintaining the purity of its resources.”
Turning to Mo Fuyang, he asked, “Little friend, from where does the ‘Clear Dust Nebula Ship’ originate? Its spatial mechanics far exceed those of traditional teleportation arrays.”

Mo Fuyang’s eyes lit up as he explained. “Senior, I am not native to the Mengmu Sea Domain but hail from the ‘Swallowing Star Immortal City’ in the Southern Yu Continent. It is a sprawling, fantastical city filled with towering structures, shaded by colossal spiritual plants, and traversed by massive transport vessels. Annual auctions draw the most powerful figures from across the land.”
His voice carried a note of longing, but he quickly snapped back to reality, bowing his head. “The Clear Dust Nebula Ship is the creation of a monumental power known as Mist Alliance, a universally recognized force in Xuanwei Heavens.”
“The Mist Alliance employs countless cultivators within its vast and rigorous hierarchy. Wisdom, strength, and temperament are prerequisites for entry. Even disciples of prominent academies vie for positions within its ranks.”Mo Fuyang’s tone grew reverent as he continued, “The Mist Alliance has fostered numerous masters of spatial cultivation techniques and strategic geniuses. The Clear Dust Nebula Ship is merely one of its many ventures, designed to collect waste from celestial cities and powerful sects.”
“Senior, that is as much as I know. The Mist Alliance is far beyond my understanding.”

Chen Xun silently marveled at the magnitude of the Mist Alliance and other entities like the Nine Heavens Immortal Alliance. These organizations operated on a scale that dwarfed his comprehension, their influence spanning countless realms. Their resources alone could elevate an entire minor cultivation domain like his own to new heights.
Even Brother Ox appeared stunned, nudging Chen Xun with his head. “Brother Ox…” Chen Xun murmured, holding the creature’s head close. “It’s fine. We’ll adapt slowly. This great world truly is incredible.”
Brother Ox chuckled, affectionately rubbing against Chen Xun. Sister Crane clung tightly to Chen Xun’s sleeve, her eyes wide with amazement. Meanwhile, Xiao Chi’s fur bristled as he processed the enormity of what they had learned.
Five colossal ships capable of shaking the heavens had turned out to be mere garbage vessels—just one of the Mist Alliance’s many enterprises. The realization left him feeling insignificant yet exhilarated.

The horizon shimmered with sunlight reflecting off the boundless sea. The crystalline waters sparkled, extending to the edge of sight, unmarred by any other islands. Yet, this idyllic scene was marred by the towering piles of refuse along the shoreline.
Garbage stretched as far as the eye could see, spilling over the coastline and emitting a faint gray haze. Occasionally, waves carried bits of debris into the open ocean. Unperturbed, scavengers combed through the waste, their spiritual energy flipping and sorting through the detritus. For them, the metallic glints among the heaps were treasures.
Each scavenger worked independently, greeting one another amicably but avoiding conflict. Most were Nascent Soul cultivators, though a few Golden Core disciples could be spotted. These were individuals of modest aptitude who had carved out a living in the refuse, refusing to resign themselves to obscurity.

Arriving at the garbage island, Chen Xun descended gracefully, Brother Ox, Sister Crane, and Xiao Chi close behind. Mo Fuyang hesitated, watching the group with a mix of admiration and trepidation.
“Senior, these materials…” Mo Fuyang began cautiously, “they’re not worth your time. Please allow me to handle this.”
Chen Xun waved him off, picking up a soot-blackened fragment of metal. “Don’t trouble yourself. I want to see for myself.”
From atop a nearby mound, Xiao Chi shouted excitedly, “Brother Xun, we’ve hit the jackpot! No one wants these materials. They’re everywhere!”
Sister Crane clapped her hands, her eyes sparkling. “There’s so much here! I even found a profound-grade talisman!”
“Moo!” Brother Ox called out, cautioning them to stay close.
“Don’t worry, Brother Ox. We’ll stay in sight,” Xiao Chi replied confidently, his flame-lit senses scanning for danger.
Sister Crane giggled. “I’m just exploring a little, Big Brother.”
Chen Xun chuckled, his attention returning to the piece of metal in his hand. Concentrating, he activated his Five Elements power. The impurities within the fragment disintegrated, leaving behind a gleaming core.

Mo Fuyang’s jaw dropped. “Five Elements Refinement… you’re… purifying the waste?!”
Brother Ox let out a triumphant snort. “Moo!”
Chen Xun’s grin widened as he examined the purified material. Visions of spirit stones danced in his mind. Turning to Brother Ox, he whispered, “Brother Ox…”
“Moo~~?”
They exchanged knowing smiles. The ocean breeze carried the faint scent of salt as their laughter echoed across the trash-strewn island, recalling the simple joy of days gone by.
