Chapter 3289 - Congratulations Eminent Ranxing

A colorful pentagram appeared on the back of Tianming's right hand, its power and size completely on par with the solar sigil on his left hand. It was the basic technique of the Pentagram Suishen Art, which qualified him to train in the battle technique.

Beneath the sigil, countless blood vessels linked to his heptastar organs, allowing him to convert cosmoforce into the energy required by the Pentagram Suishen Art. With it, he could execute the first fold of the battle art, which was simply called 'Fall.'

Tianming's caelum was sucked into the stele. He looked around and saw a sky filled with countless stars. This time around he saw a large pentagram instead of a golden nova source world before him. The pentagram was a nova source as well, but wasn't shaped like a sphere. He had never seen a nova source like that. It was gigantic, but seemed more like a flat plane.

What surprised him was that it shared shocking similarities to gear-shaped divine astralships. When it rotated, it seemed to boast immense cutting power, reminding him of the Flameyellow Imperial Star's Flameyellow Divine Pillars. With the pillars out, the star looked like a spiky sea urchin instead of a normal, spherical world.

"Does that mean there’s worlds in the astralscape that aren't necessarily spherical?" If the gigantic pentagram had once really existed as a world, it would answer Tianming's question.

He watched as the star rotated faster and faster and fell from the height above. Unlike the explosion from the Greatsun Suishen Stele, he was looking at a gigantic world's revolution. The pentagram looked like a circular saw that cut away at the fabric of space and chaos itself.

The first move of the Pentagram Suishen Art was called Fall. Tianming couldn't imagine how powerful his strikes would be when he used it with his totems. Compared to Explode, Fall seemed even more suitable to be used with swords, as it was less explosive but had more of a cutting edge.

The deeper profundity of the move was something Tianming had to intensely ponder. As he did so, people on the outside saw the stellar sigil form on his right hand. The cheers were heartfelt and genuine. Tianming had embodied the spirit that all cultivators of Myriadpath Valley should strive toward, constantly pushing one's limits to define their place in the universe. Yet another wave of shocking news spread throughout Myriadpath Valley. Many older cultivators in seclusion were shocked to hear it as well. For reverends and eminents, they understood even better how difficult it was to achieve what Tianming had done in a couple of days.

"Congratulations, Eminent Ranxing, for unearthing such a monstrously talented individual! Your deed has truly graced us all!"

Many people congratulated the eminents of House Suishen, who could only feign smiles when they saw the envious looks of the others. Some of them even felt a true change of heart regarding the matter.

Suishen Yuan, for instance, had completely bought into Tianming's performance. He was the most moved among all of them. "Mom, Dad... what in the world do I even make of this?!"

His parents, Suishen Cang and Suishen Ling, had just been trying to comprehend the Twinmoon Stele. Each of them had around eight thousand silver fish in their bodies. They could easily hold that many, but continuing to comprehend more to lead in more fish was something incredibly difficult for them both.

While they had made progress through the years, they’d actually begun despairing as they eventually came to need a few years just to get one fish. It was far too difficult. As such, they had been completely shocked to see Tianming complete what they hadn't yet done two times over!

They hadn't cared much for him to begin with. Despite his amazing performance on the Prehistoric Path, Tianming was just a young genius that caused trouble for House Suishen. But things had changed, and the couple had been completely shaken.

They were next to Eminent Ranxing. Suishen Cang whispered to him in a hoarse voice, "Could this kid actually have deep blood ties with the Three Exalted House? There’s no way that the Greatsun and Pentagram Steles could’ve been mistaken! They’re ancient treasures that the ancestors of our house left behind!"

"That's right," his wife agreed. "Perhaps House Suishen has some old distant relatives, or someone from our house put him in someone else's care. What I'm trying to say is, since the kid obtained two great legacies, he’s earned the recognition of the ancestors of House Suishen, and by extension, the Three Exalted Houses. Things are no longer the same as they were before."

"How are they different from before?" Eminent Ranxing calmly said.

Suishen Cang knew what he was feeling. However, he couldn't help himself after his views had been so drastically changed. "First, he isn’t just some unprecedented genius anymore. Since he has that recognition and bloodline, there’s good reason to assume that he’s a member of the Three Exalted Houses in the truest sense. He walks the same path as we do.

"That differentiates him from the previous valley lord. You can’t hammer him down anymore or it’d be a great loss to us and the Three Exalted Houses as a whole."

Suishen Ling added, "Based on those reasons, he’s undoubtedly one of us. We just have to treat him like we treat Suishen Zhao and Suishen Yao. That way, we no longer have to feel burdened by him. Not to mention, what can the other two houses say? The valley lords have been alternating between their houses for a while now. House Suishen hasn't stood at the top for a long time.

"If that kid can bring us to the top, he'll reign for a few thousand years at most. The future of Myriadpath Valley will still remain with the Three Exalted Houses at the end of the day, so what's wrong with the current state of affairs?"
